Using the Web Control Panel in a Conference Call
The Go Conference Call Web Control Panel (screenshot to left) provides the moderator a great deal of administrative control over the conference call. This page describes the functionality the Web Control Panel provides and how it can be used.

The moderator's name will appear under the Current User heading. Under your name is a list of options you can control. The screenshot to the left shows all of the options expanded. The main functions are:

1. Call Management
The Call Management form provides detailed information on the participants currently joined on the conference call. The moderator's name is displayed in the list and the other participants are identified by the phone number they are calling from. The Status dropdown box gives you (the moderator) the ability to change any participants status to:

Active: Able to listen and speak in the conference call.
Mute: Able to listen, but not speak in the conference call.
Hold: Can't listen or speak in the conference call.
Drop: The Drop button disconnects a participant from the call.

TIP: While this screen is useful, all of this functionality as well as the ability to record the conference is available from the Conference Management form (detailed below in section 2).

2. Conference Management
The Conference Management form provides moderators with information on the active conference call. Clicking on the Conference ID link or the Participant Count link will navigate to a form detailing the participants in the call, as detailed in the second screenshot below. Clicking the Drop button will drop all participants from the conference call.

The Conference Management Call form (pictured below) provides the moderator the ability to control the status of all participants on the conference call. The functionality available from this form is:

Active: Able to listen and speak in the conference call.
Mute: Able to listen, but not speak in the conference call.
Hold: Can't listen or speak in the conference call.
Drop: The Drop button disconnects a participant from the call.
Record Call: Starts and Stops the recording of the conference call. Click here for details.
Lock Conference: Prevents new participants from joining the call.

The Conference Management CDR (Call Data Recording) Files form allows a text file to be created that captures detailed information about the call and participants. Information collected for participants includes: Phone Number, Entry Time, Length of Call, Disconnection Method.

The Conference Management CDR (Call Data Recording) Reports form provides access to the previously recorded CDR files. You can select a CDR file and view it online with the reporting facility.

The Conference Management WAV Files form (pictured below) provides a list of audio records of past conference calls. When a conference is recorded, the WAV file recording becomes immediately available for download in this area. Conference call recordings are stored on the server for approximately thirty (30) days from the date of recording. There is also a dial in number if you prefer to listen to the recording via telephone. More details on conference call recording and playback functionality may be found here.

3. Profile
The Profile form displays moderator account information. WARNING: Do not change your Username or Password on this form. Doing so may prevent you from logging into the Web Control Panel via the Go Conference Call website. You can update the Allow Join dropdown to any of the options below:

No: Participants may not join the conference call until the moderator arrives.
Yes (On Hold): Participant may wait on hold for the moderator to join.
Yes (Conference): Participants can join the conference before the moderator arrives.

No changes will take effect until the Update button has been clicked. To discard any changes made to the Profile form, click the Reset button.

4. UI Config
The UI (User Interface) form allows the moderator to specify how many records are to be displayed on a page. For instance, if value is set to ten, the moderator will only see ten participants per page on the Conference Management Call form.

5. Log Out
The Log Out link will terminate the moderators session on the conference bridge. This will not have any impact on active conferences and the moderator may log back in at any time.
